NAUT x MERCEDES-BENZ PRAGUE FASHION WEEK CATWALK

Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week SS20 was a special milestone for NAUT. The first time on the catwalk, the new series of bags and backpacks and the debut of NAUT apparel. It was also the first time we have worked with personal inspirations. The co-founder and designer Filip Nguyen, half Czech and half Vietnamese, looked back at his childhood memories and burned distinct Asian aesthetics into the collections.

The Asian vibes resonated through the whole show - incense sticks burning everywhere, boxes with instant noodles under the audience's seats, street-casted Asian models, embroidered kimonos, wide trousers, traditional áo dài dresses and a huge 20 meters long dragon for the defile.

We have introduced body harnesses, leather jackets, wool shirts, overall trousers, badass print t-shirts and last but not least the long expected new bag's series. Our bestseller travel backpack NOMAD has showed a radical design update and is better than ever before. The urban STRATO backpack has got a twin for outdoor adventures, the modular ROVER backpack. Our everyday-carry family has grown up as well and soon you will find a new modular hipbag available both online and in our studio.

The real highlight of the show were our carbon handbags. We have used this fascinating high-tech material as an exoskeleton for bags crafted out of premium Italian leather. The result is a series of extraordinary high-end handbags, a new peak of the NAUT portfolio.
